Website Offerings and Costs

Good website design and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) takes a great deal of time and thought, so while we do try to keep our website design prices as low as possible, the charges are reflective of the hours involved and our experience.

We produce cost effective, functional websites for small and medium enterprises using industry lead web standards and techniques. We also offer website consultancy with a personal service throughout.

Here are some typical examples to give you an indication of our costs.

1. Single Web Page : Marketing / Company Awareness

Nowadays consumers expect reputable companies to have their own website. The easiest and quickest way to achieve an online presence would be to have a simple web page advertising the business and services offered. Companies who are not ready for a full website should opt for a single web page as a cost effective interim solution. At webXmedia we can create a single page website with information about what you do, contact details and an email link from as little as £275.

If you require SEO there will be an additional charge of £125.

2. Four or Five Web Pages : Company Synopsis

This is a condensed, more informative website typically containing four or five pages such as home page, about us, products, contact details and an online enquiry form. At webXmedia we will construct a website around the content you provide us, including suitable images and graphical content from as little as £475.

If you require SEO there will be an additional charge of approximately £125.

3. Approximately Ten Web Pages for a Small or Medium Business

This type of website would expand on option 2, including more detailed web pages to allow the business to illustrate its existing portfolio of services and offerings. Customer testimonials could be included along with online enquiry/contact forms. Basic Keyword Research and Search Engine Optimisation would be included in the price. This solution typically costs around £800.

4. Basic Ecommerce Website

Will contain approximately 10 web pages as in option 3, but will include an online payment function. This solution is targeted towards businesses with a small number of items which they wish to sell online using Paypal or a similar payment processing service. Our costs will vary between £850 and £1200 depending on the level of complexity outlined in the businesses requirements.

5. Full Ecommerce Website

We can design a full Ecommerce website with a shopping cart to process online credit card payments. This site would typically include a secure online administration area allowing you to manage product details and maintain stock control. Our Full Ecommerce website’s prices range between £900 and £2500, but are typically around £1500.

6. Hourly labour rate

Our hourly charge rate is £35 for work requested outside of the standard offerings detailed above.

7. Factors that Affect Website Design Prices

Copy typing: Transcribing large amounts of text from paper documents takes time. You should always try to provide your copy in digital format.

Changing your mind: Once we’ve undertaken the work you will be liable for the full costs, even if you change your mind. It’s important that you carefully plan your website and budget for the full costs before work commences.

Graphic design work: Graphic design is probably the single most time consuming part of website development. If your site requires lots of graphic design work you should expect to pay extra for this.
